Saturday: A Visit to Lower Bondeni School

Saturday was one of the best days ever. I was done teaching at Bondeni School, but so many very cool things happened on this day that is was the perfect culmination to a wonderful week of working in the Mathare Valley. While I had been teaching at the new Bondeni School, I never had a chance to visit the lower Bondeni School for kids in preschool-grade 2. A few teachers had been there for a couple of lessons during the week, but today I was going to watch another performance of "The 3 Little Pigs". First we had to make a 5 minute walk from Bondeni to Lower Bondeni. It was nice to see a bit of the neighborhoods that the kids I had been working with all week came from.
